AC/DC 50 year anniversary at Sale Memorial Hall

On Thursday, 22 January 2026, we mark a jaw-dropping milestone: 50 years to the day since AC/DC shook the walls of the Sale Memorial Hall.
Yes—half a century since the night the “impossible” happened.

Back in 1976, those lucky enough to be there witnessed a raw, hungry Australian band, about to embark on their first tour in the UK, still deciding whether they were a punk act, a rock act, or something entirely new. What they did know was how to set a room on fire.

It was a golden age for Australian music—bands criss-crossing the country, tearing up pubs and halls before exploding onto the world stage. And AC/DC? Well… they didn’t just make it. They rewrote the rulebook.

To honour that legendary night, we bring you the electrifying Riff Raff, led by the uncannily Bon Scott–channeling Willie J. Maxwell.
If anyone can summon the spirit of ’76, it’s this crew.

The full Bundy team will be on deck to throw open the doors and help recreate the magic, the chaos, and the sheer thrill of that original gig.

This isn’t just another show.
It’s a celebration of history, rebellion, and rock ’n’ roll at its purest.
