The Redgum Years starring John Schumann and the Vagabond Crew will play Live at the Bundy on Friday May 3rd.

In the early 1980s, a fiercely Australian, politically-focused, folk-rock band from Adelaide appeared on Australia’s musical landscape. Back then, Redgum was the first to prove to a resistant, self-obsessed music industry that there was a big market for Australian stories in song, marked by intelligence, humour, passion and an unwavering commitment to social justice, equality and environmental protection.

The Redgum Years is a concert for all Australians with a functioning heart and soul. It’s for all those people who think we, as a country, can be better. It’s for all the true believers who came to the gigs, sat on the floor and listened intently to every word. It’s for their kids. It’s for all those people who know that songs can change the world.

In support is our very own Australiana experts, Briagalong Band. Garry Rose along side his daughter Georgia and Alex Black bring you stories of this countries unique landscape with a localised twist.
